Today Tia went into the MTC. Despite the teary eyes, she had her beautiful smile on her face, and was just so excited to begin her mission. As we drove away, we saw her being her talkative, optimistic self. She's going to be a great missionary.
*However, I must say that the new way of dropping off your missionary at the MTC is the worst idea ever. Instead of going inside, watching the missionary movie and singing "Called to Serve", you just drop off your missionary on the curb, like you're dropping them off for school or something. I mean, it's 18 months we're talking about. I think a little longer "goodbye" is needed. It just all happened so fast. I don't think it really hit me that she was leaving until she was walking away with her luggage.
I miss her already.
She is going to be so great! I miss her too.

i can't believe that she is old enough to go on a mission! but she makes for a cute sister missionary :) watch out elders!
