two year anniversary!

For our two year anniversary we spent a long weekend down in Monterey. We stayed in a cute little inn right on the california coast. It was such a fun getaway, and only a 2 hour drive from the city. We had the best time, and will definitely be going back soon.

Best anniversary ever! I'm so glad I married Mike, he truly makes me the happiest ever.

easter & jimmer

Best parts of the easter sunday:

1. feeling the wonderful spirit of the Lord at church

2. preparing & eating a delicious easter feast

3. watching mike try to find all the eggs from the EB

{don't mind the after church sweats...the camera wasn't quick enough to get a shot of us in our sunday dress}

And of course I had to throw Jimmer into this post...why not? He practically consumed our lives during march madness. So to celebrate byu and provo, I made some cafe rio for one of the games. Delish.

Em comes to visit!

Back in March my sister Emily came out to visit for her birthday. She left her little boys home with Chad, and Mike was out of town...girls weekend! We did lots of shopping (of course), eating out, and had fun exploring the city.

However, the best part of the trip for sure was the musical, "Rock of Ages." Somehow when I purchased the tickets we got put into a VIP club...aka we got invited to the after-party to meet Constantine!

Mike came back on Sunday and we battled the rain and did a bit more sight-seeing.
