Em comes to visit!

Back in March my sister Emily came out to visit for her birthday. She left her little boys home with Chad, and Mike was out of town...girls weekend! We did lots of shopping (of course), eating out, and had fun exploring the city.

However, the best part of the trip for sure was the musical, "Rock of Ages." Somehow when I purchased the tickets we got put into a VIP club...aka we got invited to the after-party to meet Constantine!

Mike came back on Sunday and we battled the rain and did a bit more sight-seeing.

Better late than never...

Yes, I am 2 months behind on updating y'all on our city life...but after I finish this darn CPA test, I'll get caught up on the following events. Stay tuned :)

Life has been so incredibly crazy lately - but I guess what do you expect with busy season? I've been working 12-15 hr days, and Mike's been out of town for work a lot lately. And in the midst of everything, we moved to a new apartment in the city. To say the least, I haven't had much free time to unpack, grocery shop, hang out with my hubby, and of course, update the blog.

But life is good. Our new apartment is fantastic. And while Mike's been out of town these past few days I've spent lots of time getting everything organized, including ripping out this lovely star wars/tye-dye/80's contact paper which is in every drawer and on every shelf in the new apartment. I'll post some pics of the newly decorated apartment once I finish it...

This year we spent Christmas with my family in Alpine. It was so fun having Mike join in on all my family's traditions. I love being home for Christmas!

jeff comes to visit!

The weekend before Christmas my brother Jeff came to visit us! It was so much fun spending time with him and showing him our new home. We had a great time filled with awesome food, shopping, and sight-seeing. I didn't get many pictures, but here are a few from our fun weekend.
